Local, national and international businesses will benefit from the growing available workforce in the Northern Growth Corridor, which is forecast to accommodate more than 260,000 people and create at least 83,000 jobs^.

The Northern Growth Corridor will play a key role in Victoria's economy as an international and interstate gateway due to its connection with Melbourne Airport and the future Melbourne to Brisbane Inland Rail project (under construction), along with the future Beveridge Intermodal Freight Terminal.
